Small, but great
It’s small but it has everything for those who need more than “just a place to sleep”, although the bedroom is one of the items of comfort: air conditioning, fan with remote control, bedside table with lamp, micro audio system where most MP3 can be connected, mattress, antiallergic pillows and pillow guards in 100% cotton, bed linen in 100% cotton, ensuring well-being and good sleep.

 

 

From the window you see…
Besides offering a fantastic natural light, the wide window presents a side view of Copacabana beach on the right and one of the postcards of Rio de Janeiro, Morro Dois Irmãos (a Mount) on the left.

If you get tired after the beach, or samba, or a good walk, you can snuggle up on pillows and watch a program or good movie on a cable TV with special programming in addition to local channels. You may also connect your notebook to high-speed wireless Internet.

       

 

Winter, spring, summer, or fall, all you have to do is call…
To facilitate communication, in addition of internet connection, we offer you a  phone to do and receive calls with low cost.

Eating…
Hungry? There are hundreds of good choices nearby, many of them with delivery for those who wants stay at home. In the studio youwill find many suggestions,  some menus, names, addresses and phone numbers of good restaurants and bars offering good services nearby. In addition we offer an updated street guide that offers good tips. Fish, fish stew, seafood, snacks, codfish balls, stupendous shrimps, a good steak or our traditional “feijoada”, everything can be tasted at home or very close. Walking a few steps, there is a 24 hour restaurant that serves all types of meal: from breakfast, juices and snacks, including sandwiches, pizzas and full meals for two or more people. It’s delivery service also operates 24 hours! In Arpoador  there’s a great restaurant for those who enjoy stay by the sea. Nearby there are cafes, restaurants and pizzerias with great options.

But if the idea is to prepare the meal yourself, nothing prevents. The studio has a small kitchen with a small stove that serves well those who don’t want to cook for twenty people, of course. All utensils are available: pans, spoons, knives, cutting board, pots, coffee maker, blender, toaster, to give a strength to snacks or breakfasts. A microwave oven can help you too. 

 

 

You will find new and complete four pieces sets of crockery and cutlery: dinner set, coffee and tea cups, water, juice and wine glasses (and/or champagne on special occasions). There are jars and posts to store food in the kitchen cupboard. Remember that accommodate the food well is essential for their own well being.

The shower is heated by electricity. 100% cotton white towels completes a relaxing shower.

  

In the bathroom there is a cabinet under the sink where you can store personal objects, a small fan that is driven through the main light switch. There is also a hygienic shower next to toilet. We have much care with the towels, so they can’t be taken to the beach. For these cases we can provide specific towels if requested.

Are you in doubt about security?

We are all entitled to ask: is this studio a safe place? The answer will also depends on the behavior of each one. With regard to our responsibility, we can say that yes, this is a very safe place. The studio don’t has windows that are in the line of hills or “favelas”, Julio de Castilhos street is not a place. We have a lobby with 24 hours security. The door keys are periodically changed, we don’t have copies of keys with employees or others. We take personal care of all the organization of the studio and we don’t delegate this function to anyone else. There is a safe that can be programmed with a password and stores valuables and even a 14″ notebook. It is very important to remember you that Rio de Janeiro is a great city with all natural problems of big cities whith a big social gap. Don’t use jewelry and expensive equipment in the streets is a matter of common sense and prudence. Be happy and have good days in Rio is more simple than it looks to be.
