About us
After all, where these people come from?
Sergio was born in Rio de Janeiro, he’s “carioca”. He’s a systems analyser and photographer and he’s always in a good mood. He participated in FotoRio exhibitions (photography festival), can be seen photographing cultural events such as Carnival in Sapucaí, the International Literary Festival of Paraty, or the Book Biennial in Rio, after all he loves literature and he also writes some lines occasionally. Some of his photos, beautiful Rio de Janeiro chronics, can be seen on the walls of Botequim Carioca, a restaurant in Berlin, or in the Museum of Discovery in Belmonte, Portugal.
Ane was born in Porto Alegre, she is “gaúcha”, graduated in Literature, wrote lines in moleskines, participated in collections of contemporary writers, went on line in a blog almost famous. She was pupil in a workshop of Creative Writing conducted by the writer Assis Brazil at PUC-Pontifical Catholic University of Porto Alegre, wrote more lines in moleskines. Then she moved to Rio de Janeiro, were she did a postgraduate in brazilian literature in Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, scratched all her moleskines won a camera and walked out of fiction in the streets of Rio.
Hand in hand, Sergio and Ane always fight for a Rio de Janeiro increasingly beautiful. They collect rubbish on the beach, talk with people on bars, enjoy “cariocas” snacks between slices of lemons. They like to have a lot of poets, singers, musicians, photographers, actors, artists, writers, amateurs, creative creatures of the world as friends. They mix accents and plans on the big sidewalk of Copacabana. They aren’t businessmen, neither rich or famous. Just ordinary people with the heart in Rio, trying to find the best lines for the eyes of those who come here.
